Lieutenant Angela Deneault
Lieutenant Deneault began her career with the Jamestown Police Department in June of 1994 as the department’s first female police officer. She attended the 1994-III session of the Rhode Island Municipal Police Academy. As second in command to the Chief of Police, she serves as the Commander of Patrol Operations, Investigations, and Administrative Personnel.
Lieutenant Deneault is a certified DARE Officer, Background Investigator, Traffic Occupant Protection Strategies (TOPS) and Child Passenger Safety technician, Crisis Negotiator, Homicide Investigator and is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island’s BCI School. She also serves as the department’s Public Information Officer.
Lieutenant Deneault is a graduate of Salve Regina University with a Bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University.
