No matter the genre, our emphasis is on danceable grooves, quality musicianship, and a high-energy vibe. Soul / Funk / R&B / Motown /Rock / Blues

 

July 17th - 19th Nervous Breakdown 

RI's best Rolling Stones cover band! 

 

July 24th - Howlin Rhodes

Local R&B / Country / Swing band sure to knock your socks off!

 

July 31st - Nickle Jukebox

The band has had highly enthusiastic receptions where and whenever they have played. Wonderful songs such as “My Girl” and “My Guy”, “Heatwave,” and “Heard it Through the Grapevine” are timeless. The group features dynamic vocals by Angela and Becky and cool arrangements, including their new Carribean sound. They have an amazingly solid rhythm section anchored by Jacobson and Vadnais. Becky, Dave, and Allan all take creative solos. Nickel Jukebox is available for club dates or private functions and is surprisingly affordable.

 

August 7th - CC and the Riders

CC & The Riders (formerly Hogback Blues Band) is a five-piece blues band specializing in traditional blues sound and style. Songs by legends of the blues such as Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Magic Sam, Little Walter and Albert King make up a large part of our song list, but we also play some R&B and soul tunes for variety and fun.

 

August 14th - Greg Abate

Greg Abate jazz saxophonist, flutist, composer continues as an International Jazz/Recording Artist with 225 days a year touring the globe.

 

August 21st - The Greg Sherrod Band

Greg Sherrod has achieved a major media presence that has reached over 3,000 Facebook fans of all ages. You will find many videos on YouTube featuring Greg, one of which is a cover of Lionel Richie and the Commodores "Easy," which received over 1,400 views. Greg's radio coverage encompasses many major and local stations such as New Haven's WPLR, Middletown's WEGU, Bridgeport's WPKN, and Torrington's WAPJ. Greg has made personal appearances on The Today Show through his achievements with the "Clash of the Choirs," reaching over 50 million viewers.
