Officer Chad Specht

Officer Specht has been a member of the Department since 2017, and is a graduate of the Rhode Island Municipal Police Training Academy. Officer Specht is currently assigned to the 7am - 3pm patrol shift. Officer Specht serves as the Department's Fleet Management Officer, a rifle armorer, and is certified by the NHTSA a child passenger safety technician, installing and inspecting child safety seats for residents. Prior to joining the Jamestown Police, Officer Specht was an Improvised Explosive Detection Dog Handler with the United States Marines. He served two combat deployments to Afghanistan.
