Jamestown is situated almost entirely on Conanicut Island, the second largest island in Narragansett Bay. It also includes the uninhabited Dutch Island and Gould Island.
Jamestown offers a picturesque blend of history and natural beauty. Home to 5,559 residents, our town is 72% water and connected to Newport and North Kingstown by the Claiborne Pell Newport Bridge and the Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge.
